Jabeen Castle, Bahla Fort & Misfat AlAbreyeen
Our first day of the tour will take place on Thursday at 0830 AM, and we will drive one and a half hours towards Jabreen Castle, where we will explore its beautiful architecture and historical significance. After visiting Bahla Fort, which gave us a glimpse into Omani defence systems in ancient times, we ended our first day tour by visiting Misfat al Abreyeen, a charming village filled with terraced fields and traditional houses.
- Our next stop will be Nizwa, where we will spend the night in a converted Omani house.
Nizwa Friday Market, Nizwa Soaq, Nizwa Fort
On day two, we’ll start early at 0600 and visit the Friday market in Nizwa, then have breakfast at the hotel before making our way to Nizwa Fort. Here there will be activities and Omani traditional music, so get ready for some fun! Our next stop is Jabal Alakdhar where sweeping views of mountains draped in green await. Finally, it’s back to Muscat with a stop at Barkat Almoaz old village where you can explore its ruins and unique irrigation system.
